Buzz Off Burma malaria training set for June 2013

News

Buzz Off will be training more malaria workers in Myanmar in June 2013. We are expecting over 100 attendees from remote and regional areas to the attend the 4 day seminars that will be held in Mon State and in Bago just north of Yangon.

The seminar training team will arrive in Yangon in late May to prepare for the training.

These seminars have proved very successful in the past and have formed the basis by which medical networks in 4 regional areas have been set up and now provide medical care for very remote communities who have not been serviced by the Burmese health system.

They have also provided assistance and training to clinic workers in remote areas and community education materials have been distributed by the attenddes into dozens of remote villages in Karen, Shan, Rakhine, Kachin states as well as in Mandalay, Yangon and Maubin.

You can help to fund these seminars by sending your donation to the Australian Mercy secure site. Which is found here https://australianmercy.org/giving/

Just select Buzz Off seminars from the drop down menu.

Your donation will continue to make a huge difference in the lives of village dwellers who are living in some of the remotest areas of Burma.
