A net only works if you use it the right way. Follow these simple steps.
1. Hang it
Tie the net to the roof, a hook or a frame. Hang it over the bed or sleeping mat.
2. Tuck it in
Tuck the bottom of the net under the mattress or mat, all the way round. Mosquitoes can find even a small gap.
3. Use it every night, all year
Get under the net before dark. Use it in the dry season too.
4. Who sleeps under it?
Everyone. But young children and pregnant women must always sleep under a net.
5. Care for it
- Wash it only every few months, gently, in cool water with plain soap.
- Dry it in the shade.
- Sew or tie up holes as soon as you see them.
- Do not use the net for fishing or crops.
